Highlanders will open their homes and private wine cellars for a variety of wine dinners, where local and regional chefs will prepare cuisine paired with wines from some of the leading vineyards. · Mary Ann Hardman, owner of Persimmon Creek Vineyards in Clayton, is joined by enologist and sommelier-conseil Caroline Hoogenboom to conduct an educational wine session for the ladies only. "Calling All the Wine Ladies (Put a Cork on It)." Location: Inn at Half Mile Farm.

In addition to a scrumptious seated dinner provided by Epting Events, Athens, Georgia, the Southeast's premier caterer, enjoy a live and silent auction featuring rare and large-format wines and wine-related trips. Greg Quiroga, a professional fundraising auctioneer with the renowned Reynolds & Buckley, San Francisco, will serve as auctioneer, and Napa Valley cult vintner and humanitarian Dick Grace, Grace Family Vineyards, will speak.
