Collective Spirits Wine and Food Festival 2015
During the weekend of May 14 through 16, 2015, The Bascom will present one of the Southeast's premier wine and food events for the culinary pleasure of more than 650 ticketed guests. With more than 11 different events over three days, this fundraising weekend is the single largest fundraiser for The Bascom, ensuring that the unique education, exhibition and community outreach will continue for the year to come.
Exclusive Benefactor Events

We are please to welcome, Andrea Robinson, as a
special sommelier for the weekend's events!
Throughout the weekend, Andrea Robinson, MS, will join us as a Special Guest Sommelier.  Robinson, one of the only 21 female Master Sommeliers in the world, couples this distinction with a strong culinary pedrigree as a graduate and former dean of the French Culinary Institute and the winner of three James Beard Foundation Awards.

In addition to her impressive resume on the ground, Andrea is a valued partner of Delta Air Lines, and has helped to create their award-winning In Flight wine experience at 35,000 feet.
What are the Demographics of the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau?
Highlands, North Carolina has been rated by the Wall Street Journal as the 99th most affluent town in the U.S and is also home to five Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence. In addition, the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau boasts more than 20 private golf and tennis communities within a 15-mile radius, each serving haute cuisine and fine wines. Collective Sprits is widely promoted in the Southeast by The Bascom and media coverage includes articles in regional and wine specific magazines.
